10 Corso Como Milan. The gorgeous concept store by Carla Sozzani

10 Corso Como is no ordinary concept store.

It’s “the” concept store.

It is the creature of Carla Sozzani, fashion journalist, editor and gallerist.

After being director of Vogue Bambini and Elle Italy, she decided to rent a loft on the upper floor of a mechanic, to convert it in a meeting place that would also host some exhibitions.

The old building soon became a cultural space, first art gallery and then restaurant and shop too.

Today the previous garage is gone and crossing the gate at number 10 of Corso Como, in Milan, you enter an exclusive world, you overlook the future, you fill your eyes with beauty, a real one.

You don’t go to 10 Corso Como just for shopping.

You come here to take a pause from the world outside.

Here you forget the intents and you flow through a sequence of dreamlike spaces.

And we are all like Alice, with our eyes delighted by such sophistication.

We come inside and we wish that the space (and time) would never end.

There are the Azzedine Alaia dresses, the Stella McCartney and Salvatore Ferragamo collections, the Perris Monte Carlo fragrances.

And then the Martin Margiela jewels and the gift ideas branded 10 Corso Como.

10 Corso Como logo and co-branding

The black and white circular logo, immediately recognizable, appears again and again in the store and became an international style icon by then.

Accessories, design objects, books, music: the brand includes a wide range of wish list products and some other ones created in co-branding with famous designers and stylists, from the Moleskine notebooks  to the Moncler down jackets.

The bookshop is an extremely refined selection of books about fashion, design, photography.

The space is embedded with design pieces. The soundtrack is by 10 Corso Como.

Beautiful are also the restaurant and the lounge area, as well as the garden cafe, in the courtyard surrounded by verdant walls, so much photographed and loved, with those a little vintage lights that we would like in any outdoor cafes.

10 Corso Como is both a cultural and experiential place.

And from 2003, in addition to the existing spaces, there is 3 Rooms, an intimate hotel, consisting of only 3 rooms overlooking the beautiful courtyard.

Each room is a small home away from home, with its own private entrance and design pieces as a decoration.

10 Corso Como is an anticipator of trends, a container of exquisite choises, exclusive and contemporary.

An hyper sophisticated selection of fashion and design, art, photography and music, collecting products from all over the world in a space that cannot fail to inspire insiders and not.
